    AFE Filter, TRD Catback
    Aimpoint CompML3
Battery Life, typical** 50,000 hours at setting 7 out of 10, CompM3 = 500,000 hours at NVD setting

    EoTech 512
Battery Life: 1,000 continuous hours (lithium) at nominal setting 12; 600 continuous with AA alkaline

Aimpoint is a little more $$$ but I am very happy with it. EoTech is still a great sight. I think it just comes down to personal preference. My brother has my old EoTech on his AR.

You're one of the lucky ones. Actually, to be fair most are like you. I'm more of the unlucky one. When this happened to me I thought I was an idiot doing something wrong, but no one could fix it. Not my team mates, my senior, or even our range instructors. The second week of the shooting package two more guys had this happen as well when they changed batteries.

Honestly I hadn't heard of this happening before, but after it happening to me and the other two guys, I don't want to play with it anymore. Got the aimpoint sighted in and I'm happy with it.

Next time you change batteries, which shouldn't be for quite some time, just make sure you take extra care to not lose those little rubber sons of monkeys. You'll be hating life if you do

I've made my decision. I chose to go with the aimpoint compc3 2moa with a Bobro 150 absolute co-witness mount.
