What is the trick to keeping all your luggage in the box from getting coated in layers of dust?

Even after sealing my topper and tailgate I still get my stuff dusted a bit.

I haven’t found the trick yet either. The tent stays nice and clean, but anything in the bed has a nice sheen of dust. I try to keep some space in the back seat for things I don’t want getting dusty.

thanks! Not many at all actually. Was barely clipping 8k a year before I modded it (travel a lot for work, sat in an airport parking lot most of the time). So, 5 years later, only 36k!

Thanks! Coyote Flat outside Mammoth in California. Was camping at 10k feet. Stunning sunrise. Not a soul in sight besides me and my dog.

Love it. Good on you for choosing wheels that every bro isn’t running!

Coyote Flats is one of my fav spots, I've been doing it past 2 years around Aug/Sept as temps are soring close to 100's in the valley. There is still a little bit of snow up there around that time which is crazy.

Very nice build with the truck, what's next on the radar?

We like Moab for the views. Looking forward to doing some overlanding in my new taco. just started building it out for wheeling which I guess is building it for overlanding but have not got to the camping part of it yet. have to start from scratch!

Where in Moab? I took my rig there and went on a random trail, camped by a river there...I live in Denver now, always looking for spots!

Also, I wish I could start from scratch again. The build was as much fun as the rig!

I wish I knew...I may change the rear racks...but it would be cosmetic only and not really itching to spend more money. I just installed a cheap remote start kit as it's nice to warm it up in the winter without going outside. I dunno...started looking at superchargers last night but the cost is ridiculous, not sure I would get the love out of it.

My husband had an Xterra that was built up like a tank and he started going to this event called GoneMoab. It was really well organized and we did all kinds of trails in that area and eventually offered overland trips from Co to Moab during the event. We were organizers a couple of times. It didn't happen last year. Now I own my own OR vehicle and he has a Jeep (rubi) and we will be doing our own thing with the friends we made out there. We are in Michigan. Anyway, what kind of experience are you looking for in Moab? Types of trails, difficulty, do you want to go up mountains or just do scenic roads, you want to get lost for a couple of days in the desert? Let me know and we can come up with some suggestions. I think we are headed out there in May.

Ya, I wish I could start from scratch as well, would have saved some money with the right product build. Oh well, that's part of learning I guess. How is the remote start working out, any thing you don't like about it? I've been thinking of getting one from Tacomabeast website.

Remote start works perfectly. Install was super easy. I ordered this Start-X kit from Amazon for $170.
