OK, I've probably answered my question already, and will rpobably not be buying a cheap safety item; but has anyone seen the e-bay advert for a New Clock Spring that fits a Camry, Highlander AND/OR any 2004 thru 2010 Tacoma, for $89.00 US!!!! (check out Partzmen 2010 - Item number:320818588178Item location:Houston, TX., United States)
My past searches through TRD Parts and other suppliers have always asked for the model and engine and whether it has power and radio on the steering wheel before they can spec the correct one (OEM Part # 84306-04080). And then offer me the $215 special - versus Toyota's $500.
Before I buy it and spend $200 having it installed, would be curious if anyone else has seen or heard of such a price (bearing in mind the old addage: if it seems to good to be true, it probably is).
    Curious in Canada...

I think if i was in your shoes and had a warranty i would be taking my truck to a different dealer to get a second opinion.

    Hi
I know this is an older post but I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that this is a recall now & they will reimburse you for fixing it. My airbag error came on one day and 2 days later I got the recall notice! That never happens to me!

Hmm. My light of on because my stereo was stolen, ripped out.

Insurance is covering it.. let the dealership do whatever ?
