My wife asked me to see if I knew how to turn off the air bag on the passenger seat, I have no clue though. As far as I know some models have a key switch but my 08 doesn't. We just want to turn it off when we're at the beach or hunting when we're driving slow, and we have our daughter in the front with us. If someone has the know how it would be appreciated.

It could be automatic now. Like it doesnt go off if theres a person under a specific weight (say 75 lbs)

If not, I think the iginiton key will work..

Is your Tacoma a double cab? If so there is no option for turning it off. With double cabs and Toyota they assume that any precious cargo will be secured in the back seat. negating the need to turn off the passenger airbag.

    Same with my FJ.

I was basing mine off a 06 Access Cab.

If you have the key- I think you have to use the Valet Key to shut it off.

If you don't have the key option-I'm not sure if there is a way to stop the air bags from going off.

Yea my access cab has the key. I haven't gotten it to work with my regular key though when I tried for shits and giggles. Turn it and it just goes back. Haven't tried the valet key though.
