    Hey guys,
I was looking for something new for camping out of the truck, and found AirBedz, They were on that shark tank show.
They make a pretty sleek air mattress that fits the back of the bed, even over the wheel wells, which in our trucks will be only 2'' smaller than the queen bed I sleep on every night!
This should be a sweet addition to the camping set up for sure! I'll get some photos up when it arrives! :D

It rules. Very stable and doesn't crap out in the night like many air mattresses tend to do.

AirBedz arrived today! got the battery charging. first impressions are amazing, it's THICK, heavy material, I can tell this is going to last a very long time. The carry bag is a great idea, and I got the inserts so I can use it at home when needed. I'll get some pictures and stuff up once it's charged and I can air it up.

The Air Bedz is awesome. The bed is super high quality and I use it at home more often than in the truck. The battery likes a full 12 hour charge before your camping trip, FYI. The only bummer is that I have to deflate and pull down the SportzTent before I can go exploring in the Tacoma.

well I got it in the truck this evening.

the fit is PERFECT! and it sits just below my bed lights so they will still work to keep it lit at night.

^^^ Will is right, the quality is top notch. from completely flat to completely aired up in under 2 minutes, another nice thing is you can switch the pump to suck the air out of it, so when you go to roll it up and put it back in the bag, you don't have the problem where it's still partly full and you're trying to get the air out.

I'm going camping on the 18th to give this thing the real test! can't wait!

    here's some pics.

I've been looking at these for a bit now, but kinda shied away from 'em after all the reviews I read that mentioned leakage... Let us know how it holds up during the trip! I'm going out on the 18th as well, Mt. Baldy, here in SoCal, got the truck tent & a $20 air mattress for it, see how that does. I like the design of the Truck Bedz, but don't want to deal with no bed in the morning...

P.S. If you don't want to wait for 12hours for the battery to charge, grab an electric pump. Got mine for $30, and I can plug it into the outlet in my bed, awesome.

I'll be sure to let you know, this is by far the thickest material I've ever come across in an air mattress, and it came with 2 patches if I do puncture it.

Another nice thing would be that if it does get low, you can just turn the pump on for 30 seconds and you're good to go again.

    Definitely a nice set up!

The fact that the mattress fills up the bed makes it very stable. Also I've owned air mattresses but this is the most well-built air matress I've ever owned by a long margin. Not once have I felt concerned about a puncture, even through there is always some amount of dirt and crap in the bottom of the bed.

I have had one for a while now and they are great. The internal pump is awesome and makes for quick set up and break down.

    Great idea.
    Looks like an awesome product.

It's too bad I'm philosophically opposed to companies that butcher the language and cater to the illiterate. Sorry... I'm just an asshole that way.

    LOL!

Seriously... the quickest way to turn me off and make me ignore your product (or forum post) is to substitute "z" for "s".
Even worse... there's a local barber shop in North Hollywood that spells their name "XYZ Cutz"
XYZ is not the name... I don't recall the name... but it is illiteracy among the illiterate! Even the illiterate "rulez" dictate that the "z" is used in place of the "s" when the "s" makes a "z" sound! CUTS is CUTS...... :D

Yes... I am CDO that way.
That's like OCD, but with the letters in alphabetical order, the way it should be.

But I have an even bigger problem with the product.
I sleep on a California King.

My feet hang off the end of a queen, and my wife completely fills a double... she does a good job at filling a queen.
