Air Cabin Filter

    The cabin air filter is a cash cow at the dealership, The lube tech sometimes gets a dollar for filters and bulbs and 2 dollars for every 1hr of mechanical labor up sold + a dollar for the part. Varies from dealer to dealer. Filters are always brought to the customer to make the decision. I hate the techs pulling mine out it seems to torn every time. I usually tell them to leave alone.

    My oem cabin filter looked black after about 9 months, so I switched to the K&N. I clean it about every 3-6 months. It's more noticeable during the spring or if it's been really dusty. Of course, my allergies are really sensitive. I've got one in the Tacoma and one in the 4runner. :washing:
