    3" lift 18" rims and Toyo tires
    Does anyone know if there is a different connector for the new registrant R-1234yf compared to the old ones. My truck is a 2014 with 4 liter and I read that is the year they started changing over but maybe not. Here is a photo of the cold line connection in my truck.

    Yes R1234yf and R134a use different connections.

    All 2nd gens (05-15) use R134a

    1234yf didn't start getting used in Tacoma's until 3rd gens (16-23)

    Thank you I can is house the older R134a then. Which means much lower cost here for us anyway.

    Yes. You need to use 134a in your system.
