So, got this 2010 Tacoma (Dec of 2010). Summer of 2011 - middle of heat wave (110 degrees) - of course, the air conditioner starts blowing Hot air out of all the vents except for the one next to the driver side door. This air fluctuated between ambient and somewhat cold. Took the truck in and got it fixed under the warranty. Just last week, it started doing the same (cussssssssing) thing again. It's still under warranty, but now I live in the middle of the desert and I won't be able to get it fixed til next month (100+ degrees here):(. Wondering whats going to happen when it breaks again next summer during a heat wave and the truck is no longer under warranty. Will they still cover it - or will they actually expect me to pay for it to get fixed every year. :pout::annoyed:

Hmmm... that's odd that it would be cold on one side and hot on the other. Other than the vents not being connected I don't see what would cause that. Did they inform you of what the issue was? Did you do any mods to it that would somehow affect this? The reason I ask about mods is because in my friends car, they were installing an intake and someone leaned on something while working on it and busted a line and freon was leaking. But that would cause it to be hot air only and not both.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Again? That's not good. I would open a file with your State's Attorney General Office (it is free, courtesy of your taxes) just to keep everyone honest should you ever have to drop the hammer on someones head.

Truck is totally stock. The only changes done - was when they fixed it the first time.

On your work order it should say what actions were taken or what they found to be the problem. If you can tell us what it says then maybe we can figure out a fix for you that can be done on the fly.
