I made the comment about closing vents first. So thats my fault.

    :crapstorm:

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

I like the way it works... I often ride w/ the rear window open, so the air can flow pretty freely through the vents. It works best in the winter. I don't have to use the engine's energy to push air through the car... the engine's heat and natural air flow is plenty to keep me nice and warm.

Yeah but remember if you have not done the defrost mod, the REC light will turn off once you are in defrost mode to use the outside air instead of the inside air.

To the OP. You have been given good advice and a little good natured ribbing.

I will add this to it. Read the owners manual. There is a lot of good information in there about all the modes of operation. The system is smart and works well. It is more designed for you to pick a comfort level on the temp dial. A LOT has changed since 1972. :)

The other thing I will mention is the picture in your signature. I cannot tell you how many days I have lost to that game. Cannot wait until the release of the new version.

haha I know what the rec button is, yeesh. But the off button should do what it says, turn off the air!

As for the sig, I love the game even though it was way too short. I teach high schoolers how to make video games so it seemed fitting.

Heck, You need to get Crysis Wars. Then you can spend endless hours in Team IA playing modded maps. You have to deal with the occasional punk running cheats. We run a LAN most times but open it up to the web. We watch for people running cheats and boot them.

    Good times.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but the REC button will stop the fresh air from coming in. The fan switch just controls the fan.

What vent position are you using?
If it's on defrost the A/C runs even if you don't see the light.
Rec button has nothing to do with it.
Also keep the temp setting off of Max or the A/c runs again.
