A quick question for you guys/gals especially those who have removed your front chin strap. I’ve been considering taking mine off for some time and finally did today.
The bumper skin seems quite loose on the underside, assuming that’s normal? I did run the bolts back into the clips after the removal.
My main question is about the possible removal of the components circled below. I can’t see any problem with removing the tie down loop? The other part I believe that I remember reading is there to provide some protection for something but I don’t remember exactly what. I know that there are “plugs” available if these are removed. I’ve already researched that but what I really don’t want to do is remove either of these two pieces for a cleaner look and have problems down the line with some sort of damage.
What say the 3rd generation brain trust?

    Devil hates a coward.
Removed the chin spoiler, pulled those extensions, added the plugs, and replaced the tie down with a BP style shackle hanger.
    I feel fine.

Perfect, pretty much my plans. Did you plug with plastic or the metal ones that are available from a member here? Personally I like the metal much more than a plastic plug.
