    OK, so I was thinkin about this...the 4 big ol hard plastic mud flaps cant have a positive effect on the drag coefficient, or whatever, right? I'll take the air dam/foil/valance off AND the mudflaps off (dont do any muddin anyway) and come out even on drag....?? Theoretically of course.

    Another thing...I noticed along the very bottom of the sides of the truck, front to back, the paint appears very heavy, 3-4 " up from the bottom, like rippled or textured. Suppose that is for corrosion resistance or works as an air flow modifier?
    Or... could be a badly programmed paint robot in San Antonio !

    They definitely CAN have a positive effect. They might not, but they might.

    The rippled paint should help with rock chips and corrosion.
