So I know this sounds a bit ricey but bear with me please. :D

I was thinking about making some sort of removable air damn that can be easily removes so I can have it the 95% of the time I'm on the street and then throw it in the bed when I wheel. I added some weatherstripping between the bed and cab which slightly improved cabin noise and high speed stability. I image something in the front could improve both a bit as well. It probably helps MPGs too which I guess is welcome but not my first thought going into this.

^ Ya'll might have seen this monstrosity. I hope that was designed to be taken on and off at least but the thread makes no mention of it.

Anyways, I ended up looking at the x-runner front bumper since buying something would be easier then starting yet another project. It has a nice OEM look and doesn't seem to compromise front end clearance too much. It appears that it is just a lower portion that uses plastic clips to attach to the regular style bumper? see diagram below.

Does anyone know if this can be put on a prerunner without too much conflict? It looks like you would probably have to trim it to fit the front part of the prerunner flares? Might look weird around that part unless you got them to line up nicely.

Also, I'm sure this has already been beat to death, and I'm sure the answer is probably no but I'll ask anyways.:p Can a 16 air damn be made to go on a 12-15? The lower front profile of the bumper looks similar, although the 16's center flat part looks wider. What would really awesome if someone has or could make a photo of holding the 16 air damn up against a 12-15 bumper just for a clue as to potential fitment. Even if the mounting doesn't line up at all, perhaps one could be trimmed a bit and then a bracket made with some wing nuts or something to take it on and off easily. This seems appealing because I'm sure that there are plenty of the 16 air damns floating around and having a base panel already made up is a lot less work than trying to mold something yourself.

As I was looking at the x runners I kinda liked the side skirts on it. It gives the truck a nice finished look, covers the seam welds and frame while not really sticking down any lower than the bottom of the truck sits anyways. I have a double cab though anyways. That brings me to my next question, which is probably better suited for a different forum with more sport trucks, but does anyone know what kind of body kits exist for the second gen? I mean I'm sure their all disgustingly awful but I would just be curious to see what exists?

Curious to see what ya'll have for me...
