2012 access cab sr5 2wd

Im new looking for info on afe filter I can get for my 2012 tacoma 2wd access cab..which seems to really suck in gas mileage...and power....this is the worst toyota I have owned and I had 7 of them (trucks).....why don't they make one with the hybrid engine that gets 30-40 miles per gallon for people who want a truck for light use and do a lot of driving but want a truck....

afe pro dry s is the typical favorite around here. Won't change much though.
