So we bit the bullet and got an air fryer. So far the chicken wings have been a hit. And did bratwurst and tots in it today for dinner. The brats didnt have that "snap"but were still rather tasty.

The wings were phenomenal. Even without the sauce. Did a flour and jerk seasoning mix.

Does anyone have a Chick Filet Spicy Chicken recipe? I’ve found the normal chicken sandwich/nuggets recipe. I just don’t know what spice they use on the spicy sandwich.

I'd guess cayenne based on my history with Korean food, but I bet Sriracha would do in a pinch.

The regular one I just had to google and some Etsy/Allrecipes showed up. But it definitely wasn’t spicy.

Let me know how the fish is. One issue I’ve had with the air fryer is any flour put in stuff comes out mostly white looking and raw flour tasting. Off putting for me.

Interesting - I rarely and I mean never use white wheat flour. Almond, chick pea, rice, corn starch and flour, etc and they seem to brown or golden......but even with wheat the trick is not to use too much.

Ya I’ve done it as a dusting and had the results. Corn starch came out pretty decent on the wings. Others I’ve not tried.

400 and depending on what’s cooking anywhere from 350-400. I’ve also seen it in almost every video I’ve seen it done in.

    Just looked it up online.

Seriously too much flour right there. Bad breading technique at best.

Light dredge in whatever flour, wet (egg wash) then light final outer flour.
