I got CEL 0031 and learned that it was the upstream, passenger side. I did a pre-order check to ensure that I could easily remove the flange bolts and electronic connector. It was a success, except that the exhaust stud came out along with the bolt. I am ordering new bolts and 1 stud. I am also ordering the Air Fuel Sensor from rockauto, since it was the correct OEM Denso product (V6, automatic, upstream) at the best price.

I cleaned the AF Sensor to see if that would clear the CEL. It did for about a minute, so I am pretty sure that the sensor is bad. 2004 Tacoma V6, automatic.

Does anyone know the tightening torques for the exhaust stud and bolt?

    Thanks.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Depends just what studs and nuts you get.

The higher strength materials will allow a higher torque . Like ARB studs and nuts

You should be fine at 22 foot pounds.

I replaced the O2 sensor, cap nuts and the one stud that originally came loose. I cleared the CEL and it has not come back.
