Air has stopped working

The heat quit working and an E has appeared where the outside air temp should be. Anyone have this happen and what’s the fix

What would mileage have to do with the fan stopping?

 

When you say the heat stopped, are the fans still running, but pushing cold air out? Or are the fans dead as well?

Another person reported something similar, and replaced a fuse, and it seems to have worked? His message was a bit confusing.

Was about to comment this. Whenever something electrical quits on you, the first thing that you should do is to check your fuses.

I know this is off comment, but when my battery died I used a jumper to start it and get me to an auto parts store for a new one. The AC only put out hot air.

Put the new battery in there, and it did the same thing. Thought I was gonna have to take it to the dealership, but in a few minutes it was back to normal. I guess something had to reset.
