Air is always a little warm (When outside air is cold, A/C off, and dials set to cold)

In the mornings when the air outside is cool, I just want the truck to blow that cold outside air inside the truck, however even on the coldest setting (without turning the AC on, as its plenty cold outside) the air coming out the vents is still siginificantly warmer than the outside air. I assume this means the air is still passing through the heater core, and that even when the A/C is on, its passing through the heater core first. Is there anyone to change this, or is some blend door broken? I live in phoenix, and would rather never have any hot air.

No, there is no way to really fix it.
The air coming in from the blend air door (recirculate door) pulls hot engine air in from the engine bay. Sure, you can close off the door. but then you're just blowing the same cabin air around. What's the point?

Roll down the windows if you want that cool air. That's what I do.
