Searched around, and I didn't see anything related to my issue. Just this week, I noticed a significant air leak around the passenger floorboard while driving. It was roughly 2 degrees outside at one point, and my wife was freezing despite the heat being cranked on her feet. We swapped seats and I noticed cold outside air is just flowing in from up around the glovebox/dashboard area opposite the vent for heat/ac.
Hot air is blowing from the heater, so I stuffed jackets up there to stop most of the air flow, but it's still quite cold and made for a less-than-comfortable 7 hour drive the other day.
Wire plugs in the firewall aren't unplugged or damaged that I can see, and I didn't see any obvious holes.
    Anybody else have this issue?
    Thanks

There is a plug under the passenger floor that covers a small hole. I doubt that hole is the issue though

Here is a picture of what I'm talking about

The drain is in place, but good thinking. I don't see anything missing or loose around the blower motor.
The leak feels like it is higher up. I notice the AC drain tube is pretty loose inside the grommet. I can't imagine it creating that much flow, but I might try some shrink tubing around the grommet to shore it up a bit and see if that fixes it.

Because every thing is so new is why I said blend door the heat is controlled by air flow, the blend door allows cold outside air to mix with heater air to control the interior temp if it stuck/broken in outside mode it can let a ton of outside air in and it will beat the heater hot air. Think a house window open on a winters day.

Hot air is blowing through the foot vent on both sides. Would the blend door allow cold air to flow in elsewhere under the dash?

Might've solved the issue. The cabin air filter service door wasn't latched properly from the factory.

In my younger days I bought a 1984 CJ-7. Thing was brand new, but a left over that was buried in the back of a Jeep dealer in Manhattan. Anyway that thing was cold as fuck when it got cold. Same issue , I could feel the breeze coming through the firewall. One night me and my bud went under the hood in the dark with a drop light. I stood inside, when he turned it on, I was amazed at the number of small openings in the firewall. Got some water proof clear caulk, and sealed the pinholes shut. Problem solved.

Yes, the cabin air filter door was the culprit. It's been a year since, and we haven't had an issue since. We live in Northern Idaho now, so it's nice having a warm truck again.
The thing to note is that the filter cover wasn't obviously open. It was barely open, but it was enough to let in a substantial amount of freezing cold air on the poor passenger's legs when we're on the highway. It only takes a minute to check and worth the effort.
