Have two bags lying around but not sure they will would and not confortable drilling wholes in the frame for the 2002 is a good idea. What you think? has anyone done it and if there is any pics to share, thanks in advance.

What is your end game ??

    Increased load capacity ??

Never A Tacoma but quite a few Fords and Dodges over the years they all had on board Air for Engine brakes

So they were not dependent on finding an air source to air them up

Which can be a pain if your several hundred miles from home!!

I have Ride Rites on my 2001. No pics, but pics won't show you too much, it's just the bag+mount+lines. I air them up several times a year when I go camping with a load of firewood. Keeps the truck level and my headlights from blinding people at night. I air them down to 5Lbs when not needed and for a better ride from my regular suspension. My fill valves do double duty as my upper license plate bolts. Since there is very little air volume, it is very easy to fill them from a tiny portable compressor - hell, you might be able to use a bicycle pump :)

What is your concern about drilling the frame?

I am worried that the 2002 frame is crappy and weakens it if I drilled 3 5/8 holes in them.

Round holes really don`t weaken things !!

If your frame is that bad why not fix it now ??

x2 on Wyomings sentiments. If you think your frame is "crappy", then I sure wouldn't think of putting a load in the bed that would require air bags. What is the issue with the frame?
