To eliminate my squat when towing a 5x10 enclosed trailer. I already purchased the air bags for 320 bucks, but wondering if I should return them and go with the 80 dollar air springs. Anyone have experience with both? I have brand new springs with an aal, and my truck is sitting lower in the back (unloaded). I put front leveling blocks in, which I'm sure is creating the unloaded squat. Opinions? Experience?20180522_110050.jpg

Airshocks will try and twist the axle sideways at all times. Do to one shock leaning forward the other backwards.

and my current rear struts have only about 8k on them. Taken into consideration for buying new ones.

Air shocks are generally of poor design or ride characteristics. A quality shock will ride a lot better and when you need extra support/lift, the air bags are there. I have the ride rite air bags and like them. I bring a small portable plug in air compressor to raise and lower them. Take Care.

Seeing as how a decent pair of conventional shocks cost more than $80 (5100's are $170), it's safe to assume whatever $80 air shocks you're referring to are probably crap.

Especially if your rear shocks (not struts) only have 8k miles on them, keep them, and keep your airbags.
