I use Ride-on in my motorcycle tires. Got the shop to add it before they mounted them. I have a 90/90-21 up front and a 230/60-15 in the rear. I think it took about 24 oz total between the two tires. Added benefit of puncture seal if I get a nail.

I've thought about adding to my current S/T Maxx as I can feel a shimmy at higher speeds but haven't yet.

I used airsoft bb's on my swampers (step by step in my build thread with what I did). They worked some of the time, it was weird. Saying that I eventually got rid of the tires as they would bounce down the highway they were so out of round. Currently running toyos on beadlocks with no weights and all is well! Talked to my local discount tire and they said they can balance 37s on beadlocks so if they start sharking, im taking it there and not messing with BBs again.

    OME and worth every penny.
'Dyna-Beads' was the original I believe, always heard mixed results. Slower speeds seemed fine, highway speeds most people went back to regular balancing.
I guess it's one of those "If all else fails" things.

    Wyoming09,

If you scroll down to "4. Answers", and read sections 3-5, it gives some clues as to why the things you mention might be occurring. It takes wheel bounce and changes in the centrifugal force acting on the beads to give them a chance to move to the correct (light) position in the tire. Basically, if you take off and drive on a completely smooth road at a constant speed, that is worst case for the beads being able to react. A bumpy road, with some changes in speed, allows quickest adjustment by the beads.

I had a similar experience! I had 38.5 Swampers (bias ply) on my Jeep in high school. They balanced ok but between flat spots and out of round they sucked above 45mph.

I have a set of Toyos on Allied beadlocks with beads on my current Jeep and they run smooth at all speeds.

RideOn is what I use in my Valkyries now. My 2014 Valkyrie's front wheel is so out of balance,
that I can't balance the front with (any reasonable amount of) RideOn. I ended up balancing the
wheel with a static balancer and weights, now the RideOn there is just for flat protection...

They make RideOn (see the link) for cars and trucks too...

that's actually odd as most motorcycle tires require less balancing. I got lucky with my Avons

My tire's not unbalanced, my wheel is... I static balanced the wheel with no tire.

Yes, I have airsoft BBs in my tires. They do make some noise at starts and stops or if you are rolling along under 10MPH. Other than that, no issues.
