They are only attached at the top, the bottom is floating and not touching at ride height, about 3/4" away deflated. Ideally you don't want them coming into play for lifting at all, that is what AAl/leafs are for your ride hight, bags are just for load leveling. People that use for them for the later experience a harsher ride.

Silly question(s). Can these be inflated with a regular bike pump? And where do you normally route the valves...a place I am looking at for the install does it through the rear license bolts :)

yes they can be installed with a regular bike pump. I have my valve mounted in one of the frame holes that sits behind the rear tire on each side. I'll take a picture later today to show you what I mean.

I am getting all sorts of conflicting info on the 2410 vs 2407 for my 2017 4x2 TRD Off-Road. 4wheelparts say 2410 and autoanything says 2407...and i just called Firestone and they said for my truck 2410 is the way to go

Thank You Sir. Looks clean. Have you had any issues with dirt getting in there or can they be capped off like a bike/car tire valve?

No issues and they are capped in the photo....they come with "clearish" caps. BTW - you'll just want to pick up a 4 large fender washers to mount them like I have (2 per side of the truck and a washer on each side of the frame.

I installed 2407 and everything fit fine. The 2410 is for a 2wd and it will not work on a 4wd, brackets are different.

Also, I don't suggest installed with a "T" connecting both bags together, plumb them independently. If you tie both sides together on load shift it will be pushing the air from side to side.

I think for the $$$ it's a worthwhile addition to the airbags

How are the new single mount Ride-Rites for off-roading. How much rear axle articulation do you lose? The older ride-rides (older model bag was solid mount top and bottom) Love to put them on my tacoma. But when installed on my Ranger were excellent on hyway but sucked bigtime when off road. Didn't take much of a dip to leave my rear tire hanging in midair. Tough to get traction with tire in the air.

Just remove the bottom bag bolt before you go offroading....it take less than a min per side to unbolt and rebolt them. By unbolting the bottom bolt it allows the bag to float freely when articulating. Some guys run them this way all the time and none have had issues. Its the same concept as those daystar cups....but without the cup
