air vent cover removal

    i searched but i have no clue what these pieces are called so searching offered no results.



    i already have my radio and ac controls removed and are painted black but i cant figure out how to remove these. any help is appreciated. thanks

    Too many to list now.
    I'm taking mine off tonight. There's ten plastic clips that hold the surround in place. You have to take a bunch of stuff off to get to them. Better be sure you want to before you start. You have to get the stereo out, then remove the step plate on the drivers side door side, then the panel by your left foot, then the lower section of the dash, then the upper (where your gauges are). Once your gauges are clear, you can get to the clip hiding on the left side of the vents to pull the bezel off.

    My radio is out, still no access. You have to pull the dash apart like said above

    Thanks for posting all this. I used the info to take mine apart. I only took 1/2 the gauge cover off and slid the A/C vent cover out. It's most def worth the hassle. Wasn't too bad took longer to deal with the radio harness than anything else. Thanks again.!
