Airbag bulge, is this normal?

Got my truck this year and heard that rattle for the first time this past week. I started driving with my hand on the dash like a crazy person, prompting my fiancé to ask me what the hell I was doing. Luckily, I just bought a bunch of Kilmat and some foam tape, so once it warms up, I’ll be tending to that rattle. In the meantime, I don’t know how I’m going to drive bc need a hand to keep the door switches from rattling and a hand to keep the dash from rattling.
