Been swapping a bunch of parts on the 03 today, one being a 3rd gen 4runner black steering wheel and column.

However as I'm taking my current one off the bag has a second connector just a single black lead on a single pin.

What the heck is that for? The 4runner bag doesn't have the same tab/pin to plug into. Don't wanna leave it unconnected not knowing what it is.

Okay so it was from the steering wheel harness. Still not sure what it is but doesn't matter because came out with the old steering wheel. Wired differently from the harness on the 4runner wheel, so ended up not mattering - still curious what it is though.

Install photo as a false alarm tax
