Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Just the way my brain works, but...could you somehow extend the connections from the passenger side to reach the driver's side and splice them together so when the driver sits down and buckles up the airbag brain thinks two people are seated? On set of sensors feeding the system two identical data streams? Just thinking...

....and make sure you disconnect the battery before you do it or anything else electrical in the vehicle: especially connecting/disconnecting anything from the grid. The light is probably on because the air bag ECU is wondering where the heck the passenger seat side air bag has gone.

No, for a bunch of reasons. For starters there is no weight sensors in the drivers seat. The passenger seat has its own ECU just for those sensors so no one's going to be spoofing anything unless they're some electrical engineer pro who can make a little computer to spoof everything. A company used to offer this but no longer does, so the only viable option is the thread I linked earlier.

This is what used to be available and made things much easier.

I didn’t think I needed to say this but I guess I will. When doing this stuff do not put your face in front of any airbags. Also I wouldn’t go cutting and splicing anything. That’s just asking for problems.

Still haven't heard why we're pulling the pass seat to begin with.

There is almost always a better solution to whatever mods you need than to pull that seat. Might be my opinion, but surrounding the sole occupant with so much gear that the seats don't even fit has it's own safety concerns, before we even talk about airbags.
