Steering column stayed at 12 o’clock, I made sure by marking it with a chisel. Horn worked after replacement and still works fine. No issues with cruise control, clock spring is not oem but is from a trusted manufacturer. Battery was disconnected during install.

Yes I transferred the steering angle sensor, I just tried to have the code read at auto zone of course they can’t help with SRS codes. I’m willing to bet it is a cheap clockspring, this is what I get for trying to avoid the 600 dollar shop estimate which seemed a bit outrageous. Finding the right part always seems to get me…

Ok so I've pooped my side curtain air bags. The wheel was fine. Was offroading and hit a whoop at pretty hi speed at night. Poop!

Anyway. They had a hard time resetting everything thing becuause they where saying that the airbag computer has to be reflashed to except the new airbag components.
    Hopefully this helps.

That would be ideal, seems odd it would take so long for the light to come on but i dont know vehicle confusers very well. Guess I won’t do anything drastic and see what they say on my next attempt at an inspection. Thanks for the replies
