So recently my cruise control stopped working, I fixed the issue by replacing the clock spring. It works great and the Horn works but ever since I replaced it, my airbag light has been on and I don’t know why. It wasn’t on before I did the job, and I took everything apart and put it back together twice already to make sure it’s all hooked up right and it its. It has codes B1801 and B1811. If I just clear these codes will the light go off?

    Yep.
    Get this squared away?

If you didn't disconnect the battery before you started, then it trigged the codes. They can be cleared with an OBD/SRS scanner - SRS codes are stored in the ECU and will not always clear with a battery disconnect.

You're more than welcome to borrow mine to clear the codes, or you can pick up a decent entry level for around $100.

When I did my wife's 06, ABS light stayed on (part of why I originally wanted to change out the clock spring). Turns out I didn't have the ABS connector done up properly. As soon as I made sure it was properly connected, the light went off. My $.02, but check yours.

Can I use yours? I used a friend of mines Obd scanner and tried clearing them and the light is still on, my guess is it’s a SRS code then from what you’d said.

When they go bad the light should trigger. However in my case my light wasn’t on for some reason yet my cruise stopped working. And now the light came on after I put the new clock spring in.

Even if you changed the clock spring with the battery connected, a code would trigger, but would be pushed to history once the key was turned with the new clock spring.

SRS automatically diagnose themselves on key on every time, this is why the light stays on longer than other MIL's.

You cannot clear the codes you have, they are due to the clock spring you installed.

Where did you get the part?

it also could be the the airbag module, I replace my clock spring and was still receiving the same code B1811 - apparently the module was causing the problem.
