Hi All-the airbag light just came on today. What are some first checks? Common problems.
Is the spiral connector the most likely culprit?
I did see that there was a recall on the 2005 and later models.
my truck is 2003 extra cab.

Mine did that and it was the airbag computer module that went out. Had to pay 100 for the dealership to put it on the computer

Thanks for the reply--lets see if anyone else has had the same difficulty--Is it the module in the center bottom of the dashboard??

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
The connector under the drivers seat can cause airbag light issues, but I think it will just blink if that it the problem.

Exactly.... I put a new clockspring in but didn't fix the problem. Its very rarely the airbag sensors in the front of the truck.
