When I start the engine, the Required Maintenance light appears with airbag symbol. it goes off after about 5 flashes. Any DYI fixes known? You Tube suggested removing negative battery wire and disconnecting the yellow wiring plugs under the front seats, and then replugging. Kind of a reset. Thanks for any thoughts. Could find very little on general Forum.

You can pull the SRS codes yourself.
It helps if you have a little experience reading them before.
Wort case, you can video it. And we can tell you the codes.

But it would be a lot easier with a scan tool.

Thanks to all that responded! The oil was recently changed before the maintenance required light started showing. Hmmm. But the good news is that I tried the trip odometer trick and it seems to have reset and the warning has disappeared. Thanks again!
