As my past couple of pages seem to be dedicated to bump stops I thought I'd continue on with it.
Since I had 1 inch of chrome showing on my rear shock just as the bumps touch the striker plate and i'm sure these bumps compress more than an inch I decided to make a 1 inch spacer to go under the bumps to make sure my shocks won't be my limiting factor.
Here is a pic of one installed and a uninstalled spacer

Here they are installed on the ubolt flip plate.

Overall it was an easy fab job and should work as intended. Spacers were made out of round steel bar stock. I drilled out the center painted them up and it took about 30 minutes to install both of them. I did have to grab some 1 inch longer bolts to hold the bump to it's pedestal.
Making a run in the mountains next weekend so it will be a good test for it.

Spindles are the shit for us 2WD guys!
Not sure what splash guard you are talking about but here is what I've removed from the front:
    Front mud flaps... gone
Little mudflaps that were in front of my front wheels... gone
    Stock skidplate...gone
