    Hi Max,

I know that you went camping off the grid for a bit, and you told me that you were going to ship the snorkel to NY 13460 overnight on July 25th, but you are not responding to my PM inquires, so as per protocol and COC I'll now leave those questions right here:

What is the tracking number? (I am no longer listed in the first post.)

    Where is my snorkel?

I am sure there is a good reason, but I am starting to become concerned.

    Thank you.

    -------------------------------------------------------------
P.S. Has anybody heard from Max recently? Please PM.

What was your tracking number? Did you ever get on in a PM? I didn't see yours in the original post where tracking numbers were or in the first post either.

He never sent me one via PM (although promised) or posted my tracking number in the updated buyer's list in the first post (in which I was #11). I have simply ceased to exist. I have sent two PM's in the past week requesting this info.

I have made three other purchases in the past week (one from Relentless, APEX, and a member) and have already received those packages at my drop spot in NY. I want to go pick everything up at once since it's a 2 1/2 hour round trip. I also want to install this puppy before I can decide to go on an off road meet on the 12th.

    I am not very happy.

I hate to accelerate this, but:

@mahaloTaco , this guy needs your input to save him a trip.
Anyone have Max's number? Maybe text or call him and see if he can hook taczilla up.

It seems that everyone here has received their snorkel, and some have already installed it. I would like to be part of that crowd.

@mahaloTaco appears to be MIA or still out camping. The last that I heard from him was that it was shipped overnight on or about the 25th. I hope that UPS didn't lose it.

I need some help finding him so I can get a tracking #, guys.

    Anyone?

Thanks, guys. I just emailed him.

Like I said, I believe there may be a shipping screw up. I just need a tracking #. :fingerscrossed:

Finally got mine on as well. I'm a novice when it comes to being a handy man so many mistakes were made. Had to make several trips to the hardware store seeing as I wasn't as prepared as I thought. In retrospect, I regret laughing at the idea of taking the fender off because getting to the bolt nearest to the a-pillar was impossible and the design was questionable. The instuctions were fair but yet vague, thus requiring me to refer to this thread for a better idea. If you are going to look for a how to I recommend you to @lemons write up. Just wish I wasn't half way through the process before referring to his. Overall a nice product and I'm extremely satisfied. Thanks image.jpg @mahaloTaco.

His profile is blocked for me too. I'm wondering the same thing.

I've PM'd and emailed. Thanks for texting for me. Is he still out camping after two weeks?

... and my last PM to him was the 28th.

I trust Max, but I'm just worried that UPS has lost it and I don't have a tracking # to fix the problem. This is not good.

I don't know Max or his whereabouts. I just got his contact number from a previous local transaction with him.

It's just probably a UPS glitch. I understand your frustration, knowing there's a problem, wanting to do something, but can't.

Anyone else notice a slight improvement in MPG after installing the snorkle?
Before I was averaging around 270 miles to a full tank of gas (after installation of the hypertech speedometer calibrator).
Now, after installing the snorkle and two fuel fill ups later, I'm averaging around 295 miles to a full tank.

I'm no speed demon because I run without a swaybar, but I'm no gramps either.
This is with running on 315/70R17s (basically 35s). I'm not sure how accurate my odometer readings are for obvious reasons so take those number with a grain of salt...

I haven't filled up enough, yet to be able to determine a true result for mine. Matter of fact I ve changed so much as of late (camper shell and bed/drawer platform, ditch lights, and roof light bar, at the same time the snorkel went on)I'm not sure if I will be able to make a true judgment on MPG with or with out the snorkel. I will say I believe the truck runs smoother, especially at highway speeds. That might be a mental thing but I don't think that is the case here.

Yes. Mostly freeway to and from work.

Don't get me wrong, I've managed only 215 miles to a tank of gas a few times... that kind of hurt the wallet a little.
