I think I got a 1mpg bump when I installed mine. If you go for the prefilter option that will go away.

I brought that up with a bunch of people in the airflow vs sarafro thread. Essentially, for every 10 good things I heard, there was one bad. For me, it really came down to cost. Sure the arb would fit and be the best quality, but for nearly double/triple the price compared to what we got it for at this group buy I'll live with the airflow. Plus I like the looks of the airflow a lot more than the safari. All in all that thread came out a while ago, airflow has made changes, and there has been a lot of happy people thus far.

As above. I didn't know they updated things....I've been doing so much reading I'm surprised I didn't catch this.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
I read that review and can see some of the guys issues. The instructions were of poor quality, the template was of poor quality, the butyl mastic was probably a bad idea(I used urethane thankfully). I thought the flex tube was a little cheesy, but I think it works fine. All in all, if you take your time on the install, the snorkel will line up good. Drill the big hole first, then line it up to mark the bolt holes.

Where are the changes called out? Can someone throw up a link? I've ready every page of this thread and have missed it. Snorkel design looks the same for the last 3+ years, unless they started using a different plastic type :notsure:
