My thoughts exactly. Really the only cheaper way to get a snorkel would have been to route it inside the cab or pvc. This was the best solution for me.

I'll pay the taxes and $40 in fuel round trip to NY to pick up four packages. I'll save a fortune.

Considering my occupation pays over $115/hour usually... yeah including that it just wasn't worth the time. I do ship to the border and I agree that if you can work it into your schedule that it will save you money but it's also a PITA during busy season for me that wasn't worth it.

So, you work an hour to pay someone else for one package and saving gas and all the driving to get it. Cool.

I'm saving in bulk, as I am picking up multiple parcels in one trip. Different story.

Nope lol. Notice I said that's what the going rate is on the market? Sadly that doesn't work out to what I actually get paid lol. Somewhere just north of $100 per hour is normal cost for most professionals in my area of expertise.

I believe that he is a P. Ag. (professional agrologist). He helps farmers manage their land, crops, and livestock.

There's good money in that shit. :poking:

Sadly that's just what is charged for a typical hours worth of labour in my industry. I don't pocket nearly that much :(.

However yes there is decent money in Agriculture for the people who get the right combination of experience and education. The work is steady which is nice.

Tracking number confirms that my snorkel is actually leaving California and is on its way to its new home.

It appears that it is being hand-bombed across the nation, since it was put in the mail on Friday and delivery to NY is expected on Saturday, August 13th.

Good thing that I am not xenophobic.

Finally got my snorkel mounted. Fuck the top most fender bolt and the plumbing hardware. The drilling of the fenders was the easiest part.

Thanks for all the tips everyone!
