How many of you guys are going to attempt to plumb this to a TRD or AFE CAI? I can't decide if I should try it or just put stock back on and sell the intake.

I just haven't found any write ups. Just people saying they have done it. But anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

It's easy guys, you are just re-routing the air intake. PVC type macaroni elbows and hose clamps at very WORST. But These parts like aftermarket CAI like volant and TRD and made to directly replace the OEM air intake. Everything should match up and for those who are local, I don't mind giving a hand or installing it for you. People far away, I can always Skype with you haha

That's what I figured. I saw a pic of one guy using a short piece of 3" exhaust to connect it all together but it didn't seem hard. Honestly my biggest issue was I couldn't remember if the "intake" hole that goes in the fender of my AFE was round or if it was more oval. Do you think you can cut that god awful hole via Skype for me? Lol I hate the idea of it but then again I shouldn't since I've cut all kinds of holes in my flat bed for stuff.

The good news is that a brand new fender is only $300. I know this because my last truck had a snorkel and I brought it all back to stock. The bad news is that unless some fancy technology comes out, the only way I can cut that hole for you is by being there. I remember when I did it before and it was a trip! I was so happy with how everything turned out in the end!

I used that exact same line on the lady last night. If I don't like the snorkel (who am I kidding I'll love it) that I can sell it and get enough money back to pay for a new fender pretty much. It shouldn't be bad to cut it. Just lots of measuring.

I wish there was a way to see if some one read your message like Facebook has, or the iPhone read receipt.

My AFE has a odd shaped hole in it, I might try something like this...http://www.lowes.com/pd_23478-34146-RC100X75_1z10xvn__?productId=1065531&pl=1

Also, plumbing air intakes is simple. The figure out the diameter of your tubing and run a coupler from the CAI to the supplied snorkel tubing. I will eventually have an exhaust shop bend pipe to connect mine at some point. That's being anal about it though.

Hannemann. You can hardly tell until you get right up on it. No trophy bulge, just insane tire clearance. Running 35s

When's all the shipping of this kicking off? Have it by June?
