Only thing I can think of is by the placement of the holes on the A pillar is that it would be one super long bracket.

I was considering making the bracket to mount to the snorkel using a hose clamp near the top where the hat/prefilter goes.
Ike I said its currently just an idea in my head. Lol haven't thought of all the details yet. Love the feedback though. Making me think.

I know some have ran it without the top mount at all so perhaps the tape would be good enough to keep it in place.

Probably. I've run mine without it for more than two years now and it hasn't ripped off yet so the super tape on the mount would probably suffice.

Did you just not install it? If that's the case and it's been all good, I won't even bother with the tape. Especially with our winters down here, it will only be a temporary fix.

I installed it but its a shitty design. It ripped out after a few months. Eric fab'd me a new one that I haven't gotten around to installing, next weekend project :anonymous:

As you can see this one is a little beefier, longer, and bent a little different. It'll be going on with some JB Weld in between it and the pillar and larger lags. Hope that helps.
