They're not spacers. Think of them as being similar to a drywall anchor, or maybe more precisely nothing more than a nylon nut that's inserted into the A pillar since they don't expand outward when you tighten the screws.

Not much room to get the camera in there but I used a piece of 4" OD PVC to sleeve inside the last 90° section into the intake box. I wanted to sleeve the outside but that would make the diameter too big to fit through the fender well to the engine bay.

Anyway here's the final install pic. Install was pretty straight forward, briefly read over the directions, taped the template to the fender and went to town. One or two progress pics. I actually had to remove the passenger side ditch light. The ditch lights I have are probably too big for the CBI brackets, they're 5"x6" led's. I need to either redrill the CBI bracket to offset the light or redrill the light mount bracket itself to fit around the snorkel. I also opted not to drill the a pillar holes. Looking to some double sided sticky foam or something similar. I read someone suggested Velcro, I'm not sure that would withstand more than a few months of weather/trail dust before it lost its velcro-y-ness. Very happy with the final outcome, thanks @mahaloTaco !

I'm removing my CAI. There is no advantage to running one with this setup and it would be a PITA to fit.

FINALLY 100% complete. I won't brag about the amount of time it took me. I don't want anyone getting jealous over the lack of speed records I shattered in my install. Vroom vroom
    Pics to come later

I don't remember where I got the hoops from off the top of my head but Eddy over at SOS concepts set it up for me, was a little beyond my paygrade.

Roof Top Tent. AirFlow Snork, smittybilt winch, 20" light bar.
I've been monitoring the intake temps and it's been pretty much been the same temp as outside. Before with my shitty K&N it was over 100 all the time. The snorkel is the true CAI!!

Also after putting my stock box and snorkel on is so much quieter, I love it.
