    airflow may be easier :)notsure:), but the Safari install puts the saw on two separate angles of sheet metal and cutting with a hole saw on uneven surfaces usually ends up with kick back.

    The arbor bit goes right in the crevice of the 2 different angles and the top and bottom of the holesaw touch the fender sheet metal at the same time, I took a vid when I made the initial punch, I will edit it and post it up tonight.

    Yea, I'm good. I know how to use a hole saw. I just personally don't think it's the best tool for the job for me.

    Everyone has their own ways they think is better and that's what makes forums great. If one way doesn't work...try another guys recommendations.

    I've read some of your posts and threads, I know you know your way around a holesaw. Was just going to post it up since the time I started drilling and the time I was done was around 1 minute, and didn't have to dremel and there was no kick/paint chipping. Lots of flying metal shards though

    Alright, read this review http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/128682-Airflow-snorkel-for-05-Tacoma online that gave the airflow snorkel a bad rap. Just wanted to hear how everyone's snorkel is holding up. Any fading? Is the quality any good? Essentially anyone having any problems that are mentioned?

    Arb always has quality stuff, and price wise they aren't too far off from the airflow from what I have found. The arb however isn't as clean looking as the airflow is in my opinion.

    Any input is appreciated!

    Great news. I was pretty much decided on the airflow until I read that review. Just wanted to see if the guy perhaps got a lemon or if it was a consistent problem.

    Yeah I was planning on running one of those as well. Scene some intakes full of snow so seems like cheap insurance. Also will help with dick heads putting shit down the snorkel.
