I run E rated ST MAXX. 42-45 psi on the road and air down to 12-15 for wheeling in the Sierra Nevada’s. Never popped a bead and I have seen these tires deform in ways I have never thought possible.

No overheating and we did 3 trucks back to back, all at 15psi. This was at higher elevation too so maybe that’s why it took longer than usual. It was also around 60 degrees too so not sure if that helped in cooling. I’m happy with the 400p :). Comes in a handy carrying case too.

All the trails I run I go down to 15-18psi.
Depending on ambient temp and how much weight I've got whether loaded for camping or just day run.

TPMS comes on but goes off once back up.

It's not just for reducing puncture, better foot print, more traction, tends to mold to rocks and softens the ride.
    Mostly rocky terrain.
I used to run higher out of fear of popping bead but no issues yet besides one time which was more from a rock pushing the sidewall and being at 10psi.

I will say at 15 it's a huge difference from 25. After about 25psi every 2 psi you drop you'll notice a difference.

A lot of things to consider, not just PSI but load, speed, temperature, just because you did not see deformity to your tire does not mean it was not damaged.
Low PSI at very slow speeds is ok, but at higher speeds will definitely damage sidewalls. also very low PSI will reduce ground clearance.
