I’m guessing it’s the front bumper that’s got lost finally got found

Hmmm.. It seems that I got so caught up in trying to figure out the shape of whatever is in the black, plastic wrapped item that I didn't notice the HUGE FUCKING BOX underneath.

Yeah, a bumper sounds about right.

Which one did you go with? 2017 or 2018?

    I bought the 2017.

I would have bought the '18, but the dealer tried to push me into buying a '19. Told me that a guy put a hold on the '18...but check out this '19.
He called me 2 days later and said that the '18 was available, come and get it. I'd already lined up the private purchase of the '17 at that time.

    I hate dealers' bullshit

Cool. I have a '17 and love it. I highly recommend the Swegotech fork tunnel shield and a taller windscreen if you ride at highway speeds for any length of time. Lots of wind buffeting without. Not as much with.

I definitely will add a tall windscreen.

It came with a fork tunnel shield, Sw Motech stainless crash bars (tested and work well) and B&B skid. All parts that I would have added myself.

The seller also included a new set of Pirelli Scorpion tires and a motocycle cover.

The first thing that I'm going to buy is Alpinestar tech 7 enduro boots. I learned the hard way that my riding boots weren't up to par.

Tall windscreens are awesome. Mine is adjustable so I can either get more or less protection / airflow

I’ve thought about getting some tall boots but haven’t gotten to it yet. I’ve got a set of alpinestars faster that I usually wear. Only sucky part is the bottoms are totally smooth.

Pretty much everything on my bike is either OEM, sw motech or touratech.

The enduro boots have a descent tread pattern. They're not cheap, but worth the price. I'm not riding without good foot and ankle protection any more

You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to gear. I hesitated for a long time before getting my riding suit but it’s been one of my best purchases after using it a couple times (first ride I got rained on :()

I put a puig touring windscreen on my bike that damn near doubled the size of what was on it. Windscreen is definitely one of my best purchases so far.

Do you have a Bluetooth headset for the motorcycle? I think me and @Tigerian are gonna get a set this summer.

Not yet. I've been looking but can't ride for a while, so it's been pushed down the priority list
