I agree with @ensaladas. Have some color options definitely, and add a marker on the knob thats visible in daylight and of course have the light pass through. It would be great also to have some kind of grip around the knob. Just my two cents.

Yes, the knobs would definitely have these features, thanks for the feedback. I'm actually considering doing an injection molded plastic version. This would allow me to create a more interesting design as well as get the price point way down. If not sure how many are going to be willing to pony up $150 for an aluminum set. Thoughts? If any one has feedback or ideas please post!

That sounds like a good idea,$50, $75, price point would be nice. Design to complement shift knob. I'm sure you will do a nice job. Wanting and waiting, lol

I have your shift knob, great product-always interested in your new products. Personally, $150 for the knobs would probably keep me out but you never know.

What's the install on a manual with this like? Do you have to remove the boot and cut it? How is it held on, set screws? These look great.

NEVERMIND, found the link to install on their site. Although, it doesn't discuss the boot.

Would be cool to get a new shift boot while I'm installing this. I just added an extended weighted shift knob on my Porsche 964 and it feels way better. Would love to have something like that on my Tacoma too.

Some let the ring float under the knob. Some remove the ring and tape or zip tie the boot to the shaft. The knob will cover the tape or zip tie.

The manual knob should still be compatible, even if you have a short throw kit.

the thread is 3/8 by 24. I tried my stock one and no dice. If I could buy one thats not drilled and tapped out i could do that myself if you dont offer the different thread.

Gotcha, mine are tapped to the stock threads, M12x1.25. You may be able to find an adaptor but I am not sure.
