AJT Issues

This seems like a hit piece to me. Did you send AJT the photos you posted on here? If you did, I have a hard time believing they didn’t offer you an option for a return/refund. I’ve bought a few things from AJT and have only had good experiences.

 

I didn’t take a picture of the radio control left side but fits just as nice as the right side .

I scratched the hell out of my stock trim a while back. Currently I have it covered by tuffskin overlays, but really I'd like to find a reasonably priced replacement. The injection discoloration has me concerned though.

That looks like garbage and I would never install them. Demand a refund and wait to paint yours when you have time. Don't be in a rush for a cosmetic item so you put subpar stuff in.

 

It's stitching (knit lines) from the injection molding, I noticed the same when I bought mine. AJT stated they tried to get rid of them but this was the best they could do and offered me a refund. I just went ahead and installed them, you won't notice it in the cab unless you are shining a flash light on it at the right angle. Mine also don't have gap issues. Have you tried loosening the screws and making sure everything is sitting right before tightening them back down?

 

At least he offered you a refund, he didn’t offer me jack squat. I tried everything possible including loosing up the screws and nothing.

Agreed. I wouldn't install something with shitty quality just for the sake of changing the color. I'd directly ask for a refund personally.
