I bought an AJT knob for my 4x4 switch and my old knob is missing the little metal insert. Any ideas on where to get a new one?

 

I feel pretty confident you’re gonna have to buy the OE knob to get it.

 

Gotta buy a new oem knob I would think. Maybe wrap the switch shaft in electrical tape or something to take up the gap?

Man, you made me look! Wow, eBay Motors has a lot of them... carbon fiber, walnut, and many flavors and shapes. It feels late in north Idaho's Pacific Time!

Side question. Do these knobs use the factory backlight for illumination or are they solid?

I saw replacements on Amazon when I bought aftermarket ones a couple years back. They sold singles and 3 packs back then. Don’t know if they still do.

I’ve noticed that the knobs on my stove have the same style clip in them. Maybe go to big box store and look in the appliances.now im not condoning this but “borrow” a knob and take the spring.here’s a pic of my oven knob it may work

Better than waiting for the thirty-day turnaround to offload container ships at the ports of LA and Long Beach... *** I noticed a $4 discount when ordering two fob cases, so I'm asking for that when I order my second case singly, and will probably add a set of 3 climate control knobs (black, red, or cement) as AJT Designs sells them in 3 or 4 packs, and singly. Just ordered a cheap Amazon knob for the metal piece. I'll update when I get around to fiddling with it.
