Any store fronts have reflective windows? Lol that's probably as good as it'll get in Kodiak.

I think I saw you on the elmo side last week. Do you leave your RTT on all the time? How was the impact on mpg? I was looking at mounting one like that but I'm not sure if I could still move 2 mountain bikes easily

i do leave it mounted all the time. i get between 16.5-18 usually about 17mpg. the reduction is partially wind and partially the weight. i've gotten 18+ a few times. if you mount it higher, you can fit bikes under more easily, but then you have more wind resistance/higher CG. it's all kind of heavy so i don't bother taking it off. (plus i don't really have room to store it nicely. i park inside =D). lots of different ways to do the mountain bikes. a trailer hitch carrier or just lay them down underneath.

silly x runners. 4x4 and ground clearance are better in Alaska.

I'm forever parking next to other Tacomas whether they're stock or not  although most non stock tacos are probably nicer than mine lol

Ever since i got my Tacoma a few weeks ago, I've turned into a serious tacoma creeper. This website has changed me into a man a barely recognize, lol.

And it touched my soft little heart when i came out of a restaurant and saw another Tacoma had parked next to me. Tear...lol

Hahaha you're not alone! I always look out for other Tacomas! Even when they're bone stock I still appreciate them. Most of the time I park away from everyone, but when I see another Tacoma I don't care how close or far away it is, I park next to it :D
