I listen to everything from, bob segar and the eagles, Bastille and mumford and sons, to stuff like for today, as I lay dying, and bring me the horizon, as well a bit of rap, look up NF, dudes Christian and actually has flow without ever getting vulgar.

 

We hit common ground. Bring me the horizon is good, I'm a punk rock fan as well. Anything punk, grunge, rock, metal. I'm in.

 

I want to give Scotty a jokingly hard time about using "metal head" and "killswitch engage" in the same sentence. But I wouldn't mean it because I'm not an elitist prick.

I liked that song Chris shared earlier. I like the Bakersfield country sound. The Wild Feathers, Gary Allan.

Haha, the implication was there to refer to them as heavy wasn't it? I just meant they started me on the path to heavy. Technically, bands like breaking Benjamin are "metal". Alternative metal, but still metal. Just depends on your taste. I like basically all metal.

I've never ran a group buy, but a feeler should be pretty easy. If you decide to make it a true group buy, you need to figure out how it will work with order and payment.

Some times, if there is a nice response and things work well, the vendor will give the organizer a little better discount.

As long as you guys don't listen to bands like metallic and five finger death punch we can be friends. Bands like that try way to hard to be "badass" and "hardcore"

The badass bands don't have to tell you how awesome they are

Haha I like them only because I can sing to them. I'm not screamer, so I go to bands like ffdp when I'm in a singing mood. But I agree they aren't hardcore

But they talk about how bad ass they are. Like idk quotes from lyrics but basically their like, "yeah mess with us bitch bc we fuck you up"

 

Haha yeah don't listen to their lyrics. But honestly, of all the bands...only like 10% even have good lyrics. That's just the way it is nowadays. Yes I made up the 10 percent number but it's hard to find lyrical masterminds anymore.

 

Several country songs have good lyrics. Not as many nowadays but the classics
