Now if you are smart, you will convince the wife that you still have to pay the payment and use the money for upgrades.

My wife does marketing and graphic design, and might be interested in putting something together. Can you send me a PM of specifically what you're looking for and I'll run it past her? Also, examples of things you like, any existing logo, look/feel you're going for, etc. are all helpful.

I'm not making any commitments on her part, as we have a 6 month old at home, and she and I are both slammed at work since it's the last three weeks of the quarter. She may be up for some side work though.

    Truer words ne'er spoken.

Well this just sucks. Was doing a tune-up in the Toy and the #2 spark plug broke off inside the cylinder head! Looks like I will be pulling the head this weekend and seeing if it can be saved, or if I have to get a new head.

XODeuce- I will see what I can get together for you. My company E-mail is MarionB2BAuto@Gmail.com so let me know where to send it and when I get it together I will send what I have and we can talk about it all then. Thanks to you, and tell your wife I said thank you for at least looking.

I will keep everyone updated. As of right now I am about 30% into pulling the head. These 2.7 litre engines are a bit strange with dual over-head cams, but one is gear-driven off the other so it will be interesting. Just to be sure I looked up a replacement head. Not too bad, $430 including shipping. Owning a shop and having access to "at-cost" parts has it's benefits!

Not sure how cheap is cheap... for a value tire though I've got a buddy that's been real happy with the General Grabber AT2's for the bucks. BFG AT knockoff tread pattern.

    What size wheel?'

KM2's in 285/75/16's are like $940 / set on tirerack.com. Granted, you've gotta get them mounted and balanced somewhere. Maybe Bill could hook you up? You got a tire machine, Bill? Or hell, better question, got a jobber account with a tire distributor?

    :D

I have a balancer, but no tire machine. This area really has no market for tires. Too small of a town.

Bad news here. Removed the cylinder head and inspected everything. Found #2 cylinder cracked on inside. (Photo can show if you look carefully) Looks like I have no choice now but to swap out the engine. I am curious how much wiring and computer issues I would have if I converted it to the V-6 engine they had in 97. Anyone have ideas? We are actually even considering doing a Chevy 350 or 383 stroker conversion. If you look about half way down in the bore, you can see where the crack is. It's actually pretty large.
