Yea I like to take it slow but sometimes it's boring waiting for 15 trucks to move forward.

This^^^^ yeah i cannot stand it. About 5 trucks is the most i like. I will have 6 in my group including myself so that may be a little much.

Coast Guard has a direct commission engineer program. Can help you submit a package, become an officer and only have to go to a 3 week program. You know you want to do it!

I prefer US 40 over 70, with the exception of dealing with memphis..memphis is a $"*-hole. Once you get past Arkansaa Everyone knows how to drive if you know what i mean. Last year there was major road construction on US 70 in Kansas City and you might want to take into account the possibility of snow west of Denver. US 70 climbs to over 11k going through the Rockys. Do not trust google maps for travel time estimates and exact distance. Ive always found that my travel times have exceeded googl maps by 2-3 hours. Ive used Ford and Toyota Nav systems, they both give more accurate distance/time than gm.
