Old farts consider supper lunch, I remember my grandpa being like that and his breakfast was at 5 o'clock so by 10 it was his lunch/supper. Like even with it being Sunday I still say next week as this week, just because Monday starts the work week.

well you're an old fart then. Sunday starts the week. Like if I said "Next Tuesday" that doesn't mean tomorrow.

A work obligation can up, so I'm going to have to drop out. I have to travel out of the country for work, so it won't be all that bad. Maybe next year...

I'm out of state next Monday-Wednesday but can meet any other weeknight.

Honestly though, what do we need to get together and plan? I personally don't want a perfectly laid out full itinerary, but if that's what you all want I'm fine with it. If we plan where we are meeting and the path we are taking to get out there for the first 2 days I'm good with that. I don't see the purpose of hours of discussion though? maybe I'm wrong..

You need to sit down and map out goals for the trip out there. What trails are on your must do list? and put them in a list of order by priority. And then if anyone has item the others dont find a way to cross load everything so one truck isn't loaded to the gills and another be light as a feather. Decide quickly who is leading the convoy who will set speed and who makes the call to push forward or stop for the day. All of that needs to be set with a group of that many people. Just some thoughts. I have been route planning for 5 months and still cant make up my mind. I have deicded to prioritize the ones that are on my bucket list and whatever happens from there happens. And we will run into each other out there at some point. If we didnt have so many people in our group already then i would say lets make it a big group but i don't like having anymore than 5-6 vehicles in a group on trails

All of that can be decided in a couple of messages though is my point.

    Trails:
Brian, Justin, and John have made their lists of trails and I'm good with any of them. Nobody else has chimed in so we will do the ones they want. We can decide day by day which trails we want to hit the next day, as long as we decide the first ones by the time we head out.

    Parts:
I'm not hauling an ass load of parts and I know Justin isn't either. I won't be pushing my truck to stupid limits to risk breaking. I can assist in carrying parts to spread the load. Again, stuff is mentioned/listed in the first post of this thread about items that are suggested but I'm not taking much.

    Convoy leader:
I don't care who leads, as long as they aren't trying to go 80 the whole time. 70 is plenty fast and I'm happy with 65 with the loads some will have. No sense in drinking fuel like mad men because that will ultimately slow us down.

who me? My truck doesn't touch 80 unless I'm on the interstate by myself with no load, or following Brian.

Justin, what nights are easier for you with school?

The one thing I can't stand is left lane blocking. That was when I started high beaming Justin on our trip to B'ham. If there are cars coming up behind you while your in the left lane, get over. If you need to speed up to get past the person beside you, then do it. If you are passing people, I don't take offense, but when I nice gap comes up in the right lane, move and and see if I want to get past you.

I also can't stand people that pass me in the left lane, move over to the right lane in front of me a then slow down. Then I have to pass them. After a few minutes, they wake up and quit reading texts and pass me again to only restart the whole damn cycle.

Sorry about the rant, Pet Peeve type thing...
