    I just checked too. Although we all know weather can change a LOT in just a day or two, current predictions are great day weather, and nice, cool evening weather. So I plan to bring a light to medium jacket, and t-shirts.

    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    is it just the camera angle that makes that spare look massive? it looks like a 37 or better lol

    I don't think I'm going to make it. The combination of a 265 spare, no AC, busted shocks, and now broken drivers side mirror is just a little too much for me. Sucks but it is what it is. I'll be checking out the pics, have fun

    Is anyone going to be carrying on this trip? If so, have you looked at the laws for carrying across state lines? I'm considering it because we will be out in the middle of nowhere, but I won't bother if multiple guys will already be packing.

    Alabama CCL get reciprocity in the following states along your route:

    Mississippi
    Tennessee
    Arkansas
    Texas
    Colorado
    Utah

    New Mexico DOES NOT accept Alabama CCL, however it is not required to have a CHL (NM) to have a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

    You should be fine the whole way. Just do not carry if you hit a pit stop in NM.
