so, never got on here to update...

but...

took @Sandytaco14 out Saturday to Monte Sano to hit the trails on his new bike and we had a blast! He even attempted (almost successfully) a double black diamond, and he crashed on a small jump haha! was a fun-filled day. I will say it's clear his trail running helped a ton because he was never out of breath...unlike myself and apparently @tweakit88....

mulling around the possibility of oak mtn on the 16th or 17th, though. if Wes's drill gets cancelled.

bruh I'm not either, I'm still trying to improve. you can 100% do Oak Mtn with me, because we can walk the stupid stuff and cruise the downhills! the fact that I did everything I did there on my old doodoo bike and in worse shape than I am now should say something haha

 

Im going to start running my road with the kids today. Maybe if i do it everyday ill be able to ride more by the time i get my bike

 

even a week of that will definitely help. I need to do more for conditioning I just absolutely abhor running.

 

I dont run, dont like to at all. Would rather be on a bike. But i also relieze that running is the best conditioning you can do. On a bike you get little breaks and can change gears to make it easier. Running you get the full force of everything.

Hey Guys,

Not on tacomaworld a lot, but did see that there is a few of you that are starting to ride mountain bikes here in the hsv area. I just bought a mountain bike and trying to get back in it. I haven't rode in over 4 years so I'm little slow and rusty. Do ya'll mind if I tag along with ya'll one Saturday.

 

I challenge you to run a min of a mile a day till we meet at oak mountian

hey absolutely! I'll post up in here when we plan a ride for sure. I've ridden every week this year pretty much and I'm still really slow and rusty so don't feel bad haha! you'll probably smoke me.

ok, cool. rode last Saturday at monte sano for the first time in awhile and it kicked my ass, but enjoyed though.
